ABOUT US

In spite of the free public education offered by the Philippine government, a great number of students of Araullo High School
located in the City of Manila have difficulties in going to school on a daily basis due to their parents’ impoverished economic condition.   These students are deprived of basic educational needs such as books, uniforms, supplies and transportation
expenses.

The growing population of underprivileged children prompted a group of Araullo High School alumni and volunteers from
America, Philippines and other parts of the world to establish or form a non-profit foundation called, Araullo High School
1972 International Alumni Foundation to lend assistance to poor and deserving students acquire quality education.  

Araullo High School 1972 International Alumni Foundation (AHS72IAF) is now registered in the State of California, USA on
March 25, 2008 with Registration No. C2994670 as a non-for-profit organization and it operates exclusively for charitable
purposes under Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code with IRS ID No. 37-1564192.

It is our strong belief that through our foundation, AHS72IAF, alumni of Araullo High School will consolidate their efforts
in helping our school provides a high standard of education to its students and assist them in finishing their high school
education and strive for higher education.  Also, through the Scholarship Program, qualified high school graduates have a
chance to go to college or university.  Afterall, the youth is the hope of the future.
